How to Apply
The Northwest Business Angels team review in excess of 600 business propositions annually. From this, suitable companies are selected to go forward.These businesses then receive intensive 'ready for finance' training to help them prepare to present to the Business Angels network.
You will need to register on the Northwest Business Angels website to comply with financial services legislation. You will need to agree to the rules governing the network and submit a 250 word summary of your proposition.
Once registered a Northwest Business Angels advisor will make an initial evaluation of your proposition and respond to you within seven days. If you are approved you will progress through the following stages:
Ready for Finance sessions - If your proposition is accepted you'll be allocated to a Northwest Business Angel advisors, who will work with you to ensure that you are ready for investment. You will then be invited to present at one of our investor events.
Company presentation rehearsals- Once the advisor is happy with your proposition, you will be asked to attend two half-day rehearsals to help you prepare for your 10 minute presentation. During the rehearsal process you will be provided with guidance on your presentation, as well as training on delivery of your pitch.
Investor Club Events - Northwest Business
Angels Investor Club meetings are held across the region. These
events provide plenty of networking opportunities to discuss your
business opportunity with Northwest Business Angels members.
